PostSubject: Heather Hood [Zombie RP]   Heather Hood [Zombie RP] I_icon_minitimeThu Aug 23, 2012 10:08 pm

Name: Heather Hood (Sam)

Age: 16

Skills: Knows more about dogs than an average person, catches well

Equipment: Mountain bike, fishing rods, baseball bat, rifle, pistol (though she do not know how to use the guns yet, they are her fathers)

Fears: Cockroaches, heights, very low pitch/very high pitch sounds, being alone, the dark

Weaknesses: Has a very small attention span, very talkative, accidentally annoying everyone around her, not too bright/oblivious, not too strong or skilled in fighting (relies more on wits and thinking)

Habits: Sucking thumb, chewing nails

History:

As soon as Sam learned about the zombie Apocalypse happening, the most she could do was hide. She didnt leave her house except to hide in the shed or in the attic, repeatedly switching hiding spots as if to help the likeliness of her being found is zombies broke in. She kept the only thing she could with her - a bat from her garage. If she absolutely had to go outside and had no other choice, she brought her bike. It helped when you could run the zombies over with something.

She was trapped in her own home most the time, unknowing of her friends plans to meet up and survive together. So, of course, the slam of a door busting down made her nearly piss her pants - shit, was it a zombie? She hid farther into the corner of her hiding spot and tried to make herself invisible. Her eyes widened as a shadow appeared, and she screamed when she saw a face - only to realize... She stopped and stared. Wait, what? Was she hallucination? What the actual hell was Jen doing all the way in Florida? ...But even so, she nearly flew at her and swung her arms around her, clinging onto her for dear life. She was lucky, she knew Jen was stronger than her and in this situation she wasnt going to deny it.

As Jen explained the plan to her, and she immediately became excited. Holy shit! Her online friends! So what if it was the zombie apocoalypse?! She was FINALLY meeting them! Oh, she was excited.
So, Jen and her left that day. She took her back pack and packed it full of all the food that would last, and together her and Jen picked all the useful materials from her house.

As they made their way to Kansas city, they came across a kennel. After begging Jen to let her examine in, she excitedly made her way in. Most the dogs had deceased from lack of care and being unable to escape - but what was that? In one of the empty kennels, that was also the type with an open little dog door for big dogs to go out and run and exercise... She crawled over the fence of the kennel door and went to investigate. Oh, yeah! One that was alive! And lucky for her, it was a poodle. A giant one, not a scrawny mini or standard... Fantastic.
Turns out, this dog was completely human friendly and ran up to her almost immediately, and she led the big dog out of the kennel. Quickly she explained to Jen why it was a great idea to take the dog - as poodles are the second smartest dog in the word behind border collies, and there was even a poodle that could read. Plus, poodles were hunting dogs.
Jen agreed to let her take it along, and she lovingly named the black poodle Sherlock.

October 1st, 2013 was the date they had successfully finally reached into the city, though no people have been found in the area. Zombies seemed to have been a plenty but there was till hope in finding the others. If they didn't find them, then there would be a lot of training to happen. A few days after the date they had found Josh and Kasey, no signs of any of the other people but it was still good. The chances were very slim for even all of them to be alive, but it was great to have a four man crew instead of two. The next few months after it was harsh and brutal, especially finding resources for them to survive. Traveling from area to area was getting tricky for the four, especially when they hadn't found a safe building to crash in and make it into their new home.
