Ripley grew up in an old settlement with her mother, her father died a few years before the Indians came, and single brother. When Indians came and ransacked her house and killed her mother. She ran as soon as she saw them and knew they were there to kill after her mother yelled at her to run, and therefore doesnt know if her brother got away or not. She saw her mother get killed, but doesnt know if her brother did too. She ran to the nearest city where she was taken in by a priest who owned a church. She grew up there to the good age of 17, and then another disaster happened. A group of outlaws came and burnt the church down as well as shot the priest in the head, killing him. Again, she ran away and decided to live on her own for a few more years. She also swore she wouldnt let it happen again, and now at the age of 23, she searches for those with money on them, bounties, to have their heads and collect rewards for outlaws with crimes held against them. Ripley also chopped off all her hair around the age of 21 and let herself grow a more manly appearance, posing as a man for the rest of her life. She's grown used to making her voice gruff and deep like a mans and often fakes stubble or facial hair with coal. This skill to disguise herself with something as simple as clay, coal, rocks, etc has become a real talent, and its almost hard to tell its fake, even if its just simply coal. She is a very detailed woman and can fool a lot of people. Her weaknesses, though, is the fact shes not very fast. She's a strong and responsible woman, but without a horse, she cant run very fast. She is also terrified of snakes, but mostly rattlers. She has a pet rat, which also might be a reason she tried to avoid them. She also has a horse named Ana. Ana is very smart and loyal, and if someone would try to steal her, theres no doubt she'll fight and try to run back home. She loves Ripley and Ripley loves her. Her rats name is Kasey.
